The European Tour travels to Celtic Manor this week for the fourth event of its six-week UK swing. Who will come out on top in Wales?
COURSE: The Twenty Ten Course at Celtic Manor Resort hosted the Ryder Cup in 2010 and was designed by Ross McMurray. It will play to 6,724 metres (par-71) this week.
PRIZEMONEY: €1,000,000.
PLAYERS TO WATCH …
Englishman Ross Fisher missed the cut at the English Championship last week, however he was part of the European Ryder Cup team here in 2010 and secured two vital points for the winning team.
The five-time European Tour winner hasn’t tasted victory since claiming the Tshwane Open back in 2014 – but three top-10s this season suggest he is trending in the right direction.
Fisher, who will turn 40 in November, is currently ranked sixth on Tour for greens in regulation and could easily find himself in contention this week, despite $41 odds.

South African-born Western Australian Jason Scrivener enjoyed the best result of his season at Hanbury Manor last week, sharing 14th place after rounds of 64, 69, 66 and 71.
The 31-year-old hasn’t missed the cut during the UK swing so far and was T29th and T47th at the British Masters and Hero Open respectively.
Scrivener has improved his average driving distance by an impressive 15.5 metres since last season and now averages 278 metres off the tee. Don’t be surprised if he’s thereabouts during the weekend’s rounds.
AUSTRALIANS IN THE FIELD: Maverick Antcliff, Scott Hend, Min Woo Lee, Jake McLeod, Zach Murray and Jason Scrivener.
