The Eastern Golf Club has announced that its nine-hole Par-3 course due to open later this year will be called Shark Waters.
Designed by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, Shark Waters by The Eastern Golf Club – in the heart of Victoria’s Yarra Valley, east of Melbourne – has been developed to showcase the spectacular beauty of the wetlands; continuing the club’s vision to have a course facility that complements the stunning natural environment of the surrounding landscape.
Whilst Shark Waters will have a set of designated tee markers on each hole, the exact routing will be largely left to the imagination of the individual; giving them the ability to tailor their own challenges and games. The figure ‘8’ design flow of the course will provide avid golfers with a variety of shot shapes, taking into consideration the daily playing conditions.
“We are very excited about the addition of Shark Waters by The Eastern Golf Club to our range of available golfing experiences. It will offer members and guests who have time constraints with a shorter playing option whilst providing an environment that will test even the best golfers,” The Eastern GC General Manager, Ben Telley, said.
“The flexibility and freedom of the routing is perfectly suited to all levels of golfer, from juniors and beginners, through to the professional toning their game.”
Shark Waters by The Eastern Golf Club is scheduled to open in Spring 2017.
