Overnight leader Hannah Green has a historic third-straight title in her sights at the Australian WPGA Championship on the Gold Coast.
The world No.7 (14 under) held a two-shot overnight lead and boasts wins at the Australian Open and Singapore's Women's World Championship - her seventh LPGA title - in her last two starts.
A hat-trick on the Gold Coast on Sunday would set Green apart as the first Australian to win three consecutive titles in major-tour events.
The West Australian and one-time major winner has had the renovated Pines layout at her mercy over the last three days, threatening to pull away from the field with early birdie runs on both Friday and Saturday.
However, some rare errors kept her rivals interested, with South Africa's Casandra Alexander and Swiss talent Vanessa Knecht two back after Saturday's third round.
Golfers from Finland, India, Germany, England and Italy occupy the top-10 of a truly global field.
The $600,000 event, co-sanctioned with the Ladies European Tour, is being contested for just the second time and first since 2022 after the threat of a cyclone forced its cancellation last year.
Early movers on Sunday included Singapore's Shannon Tan and Brit Caley McGinty, who had both picked up three strokes to move to six-under through five holes.
Raegan Denton was the next-best Australian, just outside the top-10 at seven under for the tournament after an early birdie to begin her final round.
