Srixon has released its new Z Series irons, with three models in the series – the Z565, Z765 and Z965 – to suits golfers of all abilities.
The new Srixon Z Series irons are designed to allow golfers swing through the ball with confidence and taking dead aim at the pin from any lie. In addition, like the previous model, they offer the smoothest, most consistent feel of precision-forged soft head material. Updated based on insights from tour pros, the design features a larger face and the latest evolution of the V-shaped ‘Tour V.T. Sole’, which has been rated highly since its introduction.
The Tour V.T Sole allows golfers to swing through with full power. Introduced on the previous model to wide acclaim, the Tour V.T. Sole has been modified to move even more efficiently through the turf, reducing impact resistance and tightening shot dispersion for maximum consistency and control.
Based on feedback from Tour pros, the new design features an even bigger face for increased forgiveness. Compared to the previous model, the head features a rounder shape for a feeling of embracing the ball on the swing. The end result is enhanced control.
These irons feature a soft impact feel of forged soft iron and stable spon performance. An ultra-soft S20c head material – and a special treatment for the Z765 and Z965 irons – enhances the feeling of grip on the ball and the soft impact feel that characterizes the Srixon Z Series irons.
The finish of the irons includes ‘Double Laser Milling’, a popular feature on the previous model, while the groove area is five percent larger than the previous model. These two features combine to make spin control more consistent in wet conditions or the rough.
The Srixon Z965 Irons have made Srixon's best iron performance even better. The Z965 is a compact muscle back blade ideal for the most advanced, demanding players.
The Z765 is a muscle cavity preferred by skilled by players for its traditional profile and exceptional control.
The Z 565 is a highly playable forged cavity back that promotes maximum distance and forgiveness.
