LIV Golf will tee off its 2026 season on Australian screens this February, with the Seven Network confirmed as the free-to-air home for the league’s opening events in Riyadh and Adelaide.
The 2026 edition begins under lights in Saudi Arabia, with LIV Golf Riyadh broadcast live and free on 7mate and 7plus Sport from Thursday, 5 February. Played across four days, the season opener sets the early tone before the competition shifts hemispheres for one of the most anticipated stops on the calendar.
From there, LIV Golf heads to South Australia, returning to The Grange Golf Club for LIV Golf Adelaide. Starting Thursday, 12 February, the event will again run over four days, live and free across Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport.
Since its arrival in Adelaide, the tournament has quickly established itself as one of LIV Golf’s flagship events, drawing huge crowds and blending elite-level golf with a festival-like atmosphere. Shotgun starts, live music and the now-iconic “Watering Hole” at the par-3 12th have helped make it a standout on the global schedule.
All 13 LIV Golf teams will be on show, including hometown favourites Ripper GC, featuring Australian stars Cameron Smith, Lucas Herbert and Marc Leishman, alongside new recruit Elvis Smylie. Ripper GC claimed victory at the inaugural LIV Golf Adelaide in 2024 but will again face stiff competition from international heavyweights Crushers GC, Legion XIII, 4Aces GC and Smash GC.
Seven Network Head of Sport Digital, Kirsty Bradmore, said she was delighted to welcome LIV Golf back to the network.
“LIV Golf’s expanded 2026 format represents exactly the kind of bold, modern sports product we want on Seven. It delivers more live hours, more storylines and more opportunities to engage fans across broadcast, streaming and digital – and we’re excited to be part of that growth.
“The fast-paced, innovative nature of LIV Golf really resonates with Australian sports fans. The expanded format allows us to deliver more live coverage, more prime-time moments and deeper storytelling around players and events that matter to local audiences.
“The Adelaide event continues to be a standout on the LIV Golf calendar, and we’re pleased to showcase it as a marquee Australian sporting moment across Seven and 7plus Sport,” she said.
Seven will broadcast the global feed from both Riyadh and Adelaide, with coverage led by announcers Arlo White, David Feherty, Jerry Foltz and Su-Ann Heng.
