LIV Golf Adelaide 2026 has set new benchmarks for both the league and Australian golf, drawing over 115,000 fans across four days at The Grange Golf Club.
Premier Peter Malinauskas and LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil confirmed the record-breaking figures during the final round, with Saturday alone attracting 38,500 spectators - the largest single-day crowd in LIV Golf history. Fans from across the country flocked to Adelaide to watch the final-round action as players battled for individual and team honours.
“This attendance sets a new record that everyone in South Australia and sports fans around the country can be very proud of,” Malinauskas said.
“It’s a showcase of not just world-class golf, but of South Australia. I want to thank The Grange Golf Club and all their members for being such generous hosts. Our partnership with LIV Golf continues to go from strength to strength.”
O’Neil added, “There is something almost magical about walking through this course. To the fans, thank you. To The Grange, thank you, and to Kooyonga, I love passing the torch. Breaking Australia’s all-time golf attendance record is humbling, and we plan on being here for the long term.”
The 2026 event continues LIV Golf Adelaide’s role as the league’s flagship tournament, which has grown into one of the most popular sporting events in South Australia over four years. Nearly 400,000 fans have attended since the event’s inception, cementing its place on the global golf calendar.
Dates for LIV Golf Adelaide 2027 have already been announced: the tournament will run from 18–21 March at Kooyonga Golf Club. This week’s attendees had early access to 2027 hospitality and grounds tickets, with public sales opening today at LIVGolf.com.
Adelaide will remain LIV Golf’s exclusive home in Australia through at least 2031. In 2028, the league will move to the redeveloped North Adelaide Golf Course, bringing the event closer to the city centre and continuing its growth as one of the country’s marquee sporting experiences.
