Gina Kim and Yana Wilson captured their maiden LPGA Tour titles on Sunday, combining for a brilliant final-round 8-under-par 62 to win the Dow Championship by two shots.
The American duo finished at 17-under-par 263 at Midland Country Club, holding off South Koreans Hyo Joo Kim and Hye-Jin Choi, who closed with a 65.
Wilson, 19, admitted the pair were navigating unfamiliar territory as they chased down victory in the LPGA's official team event.
"I haven't been in a leading position for a long time," Wilson said.
"Even as a team, I feel like both of us haven't been in this leading position. We walked down 18 just now and we were like, 'Does this feel weird to you? Like this is so weird.'
"So it's a little nervy out there. I feel like we handled it really well."
A key moment came early in the final round when Gina Kim holed out from the fairway for eagle at the par-4 fifth.
"I knew I hit a really good shot and I was thinking, 'Oh, OK, maybe I'll tap in for birdie.' And then it just disappeared," Kim said.
"I think that really set the tone for the day."
The victory came in Kim's 64th LPGA Tour start, while Wilson achieved the feat in just her ninth start as a rookie.
"This has been the most fun week," Kim said.
"It's been tough, and it's nice to have a really good friend to be able to do this by."
The partnership was built on trust forged during their time on the Epson Tour, where both earned LPGA Tour cards last season.
Wilson, the 2022 U.S. Girls' Junior champion, finished second on the 2025 Epson Tour money list, with Kim third.
"Part of the reason I asked Yana to be my partner is we actually played in the final group on Epson and we've played together numerous times," Kim said.
"So, I knew she was really, really good under pressure and I trusted her."
Somi Lee and Jin Hee Im fired the round of the day, a 9-under 61, to share third place at 14-under with former UCLA teammates Alison Lee and Lilia Vu, who closed with 64.
LPGA Hall of Famer Juli Inkster continued her remarkable week, teaming with Angel Yin to finish tied for 12th at 9-under after a final-round 64. The 66-year-old became the oldest player in LPGA history to make the cut in an official event earlier in the tournament.
"We had an amazing time," Inkster said. "Angel played amazing."
World No.1 Nelly Korda and Olivia Cowan finished tied for 17th at 8-under. The pair bounced back from a third-round 76 with a closing 66 after entering the week with Korda fresh off her U.S. Women's Open triumph.
