The Golf South Australia Mid Amateur Championship is being played at the beautiful Links Lady Bay Resort at Normanville, on the Fleurieu Peninsula, on November 1 and 2 with the off course activities promising to be as exciting as the competition.

The 36-hole strokeplay event, for men (maximum handicap 18) and women (maximum 27), will also include a team event to be run in conjunction with the championship, which will boast a selection of former AFL players and first-class cricketers in the field.

Entry into the championship costs $65 (enter via the Golf SA website), and there are stay and play packages available.

There will be a host of free activities during the weekend for kids and families, including a kangaroo cart safari, pony rides, bouncy castle, kids and parents golf clinic as well as sausage sizzles.
