The ball on the left is on a firm-and-straight line; the right-hand ball is on a line for a softer putt with more break played.When trying to finish off a good score, there are many thoughts that can be running through your head that can cloud your thinking. This is especially true with putting.
A key to sinking those putts under pressure is to have a clear picture of what you’re trying to do with the putt.
PRACTISE THE DECISION PROCESS
- Pick a putt with a slight break.
- Practise hitting putts with different combinations of speed and break: firm and straight, and softer with more break.
