The circuit, which offers the best young golfers in the country the chance to compete at some of the nation’s best courses, previously announced that its 2021 schedule would roll into next year. And the 2022 final will be held at world famous Kingston Heath on the Melbourne Sandbelt.

A host venue for some of the biggest tournaments in Australian golf in the past, Kingston Heath was ranked No.6 in Golf Australia magazine’s Top-100 ranking in 2020, and will offer a serious test for the country’s bright golfing prospects in an event that offers points in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

“I’m so thrilled to announce that one of the world’s best golf courses, Kingston Heath, will play host to the 2022 adidas Junior 6s Tour World Final,” Porter said. “Having hosted numerous international tournaments including Tiger Woods’ historic 2009 Australian Masters victory, Kingston Heath has deservedly earned its reputation as one of the finest layouts on the planet where all the greatest golfers in history have graced the fairways.

The World Final begins September 12, with competitors in the boys and girls fields playing 54 holes of strokeplay before a Super 6s knockout competition.

Winners of the event will be rewarded with exemptions into multiple tournaments at the professional level as well as adidas Golf scholarships.

Originally designed by Dan Soutar in 1925, with Dr Alister MacKenzie lending his expertise to the club during his visit to the Sandbelt, the design group of Ogilvy, Cocking and Mead (OCM) are the ongoing architects for the club renowned for its bunkering and brilliant greens.
