How many times have you heard, or been told by a playing partner, to keep your head down after you have duffed a shot?
Unfortunately, it’s more likely the cause of your mis-hit was not your head but a common fault that hits in the split second before impact. It is a swing fault known as early extension, which usually gets confused with lifting the head as they come through to hit the ball.
