Tom Corker, Head of Instruction at Kingston Heath, demonstrates this very nice distance control putting drill to practise at any time, but particularly before your round or if you’re playing a golf course that’s unfamiliar.
"I highly recommend hitting as many unique putts – short, long, uphill, downhill, undulating - as possible to dial in distance control and give you a feel for speed," Corker says. "All you for this drill is six balls and two holes, 10-metres apart. And you’re going to give yourself six putts of varying lengths."
